    For the past ten years, Jeremy has traveled the world working with international and national media as he directs our public relations efforts with several of our largest organizations. He helps lead our firm as part of our management team and is a proud graduate from the University of North Carolina.

    Prior to joining The DeMoss Group, Christine Cape was a part of the public relations team for Greater Twin Cities United Way. She specialized in working with media to showcase United Way’s impact on poverty. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and advertising from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.

    Jennifer manages our production department, focusing on project implementation and event logistics. She joined us in 2002 after graduating from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication.  Her experience with event planning/production and magazine/newspaper publishing has equipped her to serve our clients with excellence.

    Since founding The DeMoss Group in 1991, Mark DeMoss has served some of the world's most prominent and effective Christian ministries and enterprises. Mark has been involved in shaping some of the largest Christian events and campaigns over the past decade while simultaneously overseeing the growth of his firm. He has extensive media relations experience with both religious and mainstream media and provides particular expertise to clients in crisis/issues management and communications. Mark provides primary public relations counsel and strategic planning for The DeMoss Group. His first book, The Little Red Book of Wisdom, was published in 2007. In 2012, Mark addressed the students of Brigham Young University about Life's Two Big Questions.

    Since 2002, Karen has served a number of DeMoss Group clients with distinction. She specializes in public relations strategy and communications counsel. Karen currently directs our work for Operation Christmas Child and Cru (the name of Campus Crusade for Christ in the U.S.). She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a B.S. in public relations.

    Ally Edge works with The DeMoss Group's production team to deliver projects on time, on budget and of the highest quality. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Valdosta State University with a B.F.A. in speech communications, Ally previously served in communications roles with the North American Mission Board’s Families on a Mission and World Changers.

    Chandler Epp has delivered strategic communications thinking and results for DeMoss Group clients since 2011. His passions for public policy and digital strategy inform much of his work for our clients. Before coming to the agency, Chandler led the Southeast's largest student-run political organization, served as communications director for a statewide political campaign and worked in the press office of Governor Sonny Perdue. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a dual degree in International Affairs and Spanish.

    Since 1997, Sherry has been the first voice and first face most people experience at The DeMoss Group. She became our receptionist following five years with InTouch Ministries in Atlanta.

    With 30 years of experience in corporate and non-profit communications, Michelle Farmer is a public relations veteran. She leads our work for Prison Fellowship and BreakPoint and serves as a media relations specialist on several other teams. Michelle joined The DeMoss Group in 2004 following her tenure as an account executive at Atlanta's Tillman Allen Greer Marketing and Communications and Watermark Public Relations in Melbourne, Fla. She headed her own consulting group for 10 years and began her career in corporate communications with Liberty Life Insurance Company. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts from Furman University.

  • Rob recently returned to The DeMoss Group in a business operations role after previously serving the firm from 2001-2004 in a public relations capacity. During the eight years between, Rob co-founded and ran a literary publicity firm and served as a strategic consultant to clients such as The Salvation Army, the Yale Center for Faith & Culture, Heidrick & Struggles and GLOCK. He helps lead the firm as part of the management team and is a graduate of Auburn University.

    Alison joined The DeMoss Group after working with Weber Shandwick in its Dallas office. She brings with her experience in social media, writing and media relations for small and large organizations. Alison is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in communication studies and a minor in philosophy.

    Drew joined The DeMoss Group in 2012, bringing with him a wide variety of experience in social and digital media. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in Engauge's Atlanta office, leading social media strategy for brands such as Chick-fil-A, Cisco, MARS and Rachael Ray's Nutrish. Drew is a proud graduate of Western Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in advertising.

    Before joining The DeMoss Group in 2007, Amy worked for two of the world's largest public relations agencies—Weber Shandwick and Ketchum Public Relations—where she served numerous clients including Eastman Kodak Company and IBM. She currently leads our work with Christian Care Ministry and AmericanBible Society. Amy graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations and a minor in business administration.

    Since joining The DeMoss Group in 2010, Kelsey Hulgan has leveraged her skills in traditional and social media relations on behalf of a number of our clients. Kelsey has played a key role in the firm's campaigns for many of our publishing clients in particular. A proud graduate of Auburn University with a degree in public relations, Kelsey previously managed electronic media for the Auburn Alumni Association.

    Lisa Ledbetter is the executive assistant to Mark DeMoss. Having joined The DeMoss Group in 2012, Lisa brings with her extensive experience as an administrative professional. She previously served as the executive assistant to the director of administration at First Baptist Atlanta, as well as in administrative roles in the health insurance industry. Lisa is a graduate of Tennessee Tech with a degree in business administration.

    Jessica Perez joined our production department in 2007, assisting in the coordination of client projects and providing proof-reading and quality control expertise. She now manages all media monitoring for our clients. A graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in corporate journalism, Jessica joined The DeMoss Group following a stint in the real estate industry in Savannah, Ga.

    Katie Rouse joined The DeMoss Group in 2011. Her expertise includes advertising and marketing and she currently leads the firm's media planning and buying work. Katie previously spent five years with The Walt Disney Company's Radio Disney division. Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Shorter College.

    Whether reporting from Bosnia, interviewing terrorist attack survivors at the Pentagon, or repelling down the side of a high-rise hotel, veteran journalist Todd Shearer has reported on a wide range of stories during his career. Before joining The DeMoss Group, Todd spent 17 years chasing the news at television and radio stations across the country, most recently in Atlanta where he worked as an anchor and reporter for the NBC and CBS affiliates. Todd directs our work for the American Center for Law and Justice and utilizes his media expertise as a member of several other teams including the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Samaritan's Purse, and Campus Crusade for Christ.

    Jennifer brings 16 years of public relations experience to our clients' communication programs. She began her career in marketing and PR for the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau. Jennifer joined The DeMoss Group in 1999, creating strategy and securing national media coverage for clients including Prison Fellowship, the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) and the major motion picture The Gospel of John. In 2006, Jennifer launched The Maximus Group, a public relations agency specializing in Catholic organizations and issues, and has since managed two Atlanta-based boutique firms - Schroder Public Relations and Spaulding Communications. Jennifer "returned home" to The DeMoss Group in 2010, motivated by her desire to again apply her PR skills to faith-based organizations and causes. She is a Georgia Bulldog with a bachelor's degree in journalism.

    As our office manager, Leslie assists our public relations team and our clients with excellent service. With more than twenty years in banking, financial services, marketing and design, along with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Georgia, Leslie has the knowledge and ability to help our office run effectively and efficiently.

    Frank Taylor is The DeMoss Group's controller. Prior to joining our team in 2001, Frank served for six years with a CPA firm specializing in income tax and audits. For nine years, Frank managed a family agriculture business in South Georgia. He also served as director of finance for Darton College in Albany, Ga. Frank earned his BBA in accounting at Valdosta State University.

    Jessica came to The DeMoss Group in 2006 from one of the nation's leading retailers, Target Corporation, where she was in executive leadership and managed a store in the Atlanta market. She works extensively on behalf of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Samaritan's Purse and Operation Christmas Child. Jessica graduated from Oral Roberts University, where she earned her degree in advertising and public relations.

    Since 2007, Kelly Wells has worked with a number of clients at The DeMoss Group including Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child, Compassion International, and Prison Fellowship. Using her keen organizational skills, she also manages a number of crisis communications planning projects on behalf of the firm. A Tar Heel at heart, Kelly previously served as the communications specialist for the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®, managing the association's media relations, monthly magazine, electronic newsletters and statistics. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications, with a specialization in public relations, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    Christy Lynn Wilson serves as a senior strategist at The DeMoss Group. She joined the firm in 2002 after spending several years at Washington, D.C.'s largest independent communications firm. Since joining The DeMoss Group, she has worked in a number of areas, from launching the firm's social media practice to developing brand strategies for several clients to leading our work with American Bible Society. With a background in education PR and policy, Christy Lynn currently spearheads our firm's higher education work. A thoughtful writer, she has penned opinion editorials that have appeared in many of America's leading news outlets. She holds a bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary and a master's degree in public policy from Duke University, where she served as a teaching assistant for William Raspberry.

    Adrienne Young joined The DeMoss Group team in 2012. She brings to the firm a wide variety of professional writing experience, having worked in film marketing and digital marketing for brands such as Disney, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Chick-fil-A and GLOCK. At The DeMoss Group, Adrienne serves many of the firm's publishing clients. She is a proud graduate of Pepperdine University with a bachelor's degree in English—Writing & Rhetoric.
