Strategies that influence and change public
opinion and behavior.
Our clients in value- and faith-based services and issues often need to
educate, inform, and motivate large numbers of people. To help them do
that, we make wise use of all available resources, including
advertising, direct marketing, special events, and other tools that
harness the power of stories for mass audiences.
Marketing. Tangible, arresting messages through the mail have
moved thousands of people to help disadvantaged children in poor
communities around the world. Targeted mailings have spurred support for
the children of men and women in prison; rallied opposition to sexually
explicit movies; and sounded the call for morality in government. In
every case, marketing served our larger goal to grasp a client's story,
state the need clearly and compellingly, and use the most direct and
cost-effective tools to reach people who can help make a difference.
Advertising. In recent years, The DeMoss Group advertising
campaigns have earned awards—and more importantly, raised awareness—on
subjects from criminal justice reform and international persecution of
Christians, to filtered Internet services and open doors for
missionaries abroad.
Advocacy. To go straight to audiences with important ideas, The
DeMoss Group sometimes steps onto the op-ed pages of the nation's
newspapers. Under client bylines, we have placed thoughtful and timely
essays, letters to editors, and opinion pieces in a number of the
country’s most influential forums.
